To coincide with the January 8, 2026 premiere of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 – “Shimetsu Kaiyū: Part 1,” based on Gege Akutami’s original manga, a new collaboration with Universal Studios Japan (USJ) has been announced as part of the “Universal Cool Japan 2026” event, launching on January 30, 2026.

This marks the second collaboration between Jujutsu Kaisen and USJ, following their first partnership in 2022. The 2026 event will feature the return of the immersive 4D attraction “Jujutsu Kaisen: The Real 4-D”, now with an all-new original story enhanced by dynamic 3D visuals and special effects like vibrations and water splashes, offering guests a more intense and realistic experience of the Jujutsu Kaisen universe.

Additionally, a new “Jujutsu Kaisen × Story Ride” will be introduced in collaboration with the park’s popular roller coaster, Hollywood Dream – The Ride. Further details about both attractions will be revealed at a later date.

To mark the announcement, a teaser visual for the Jujutsu Kaisen × Universal Cool Japan 2026 collaboration has been unveiled, depicting Yuji Itadori standing resolutely beneath a descending “barrier”—a signature element from the series—symbolizing his unwavering determination.
