"Oni no Hanayome(鬼の花嫁)" to Get Live-Action Film Adaptation, Starring Eiji Nakao (King & Prince) and Ai Yoshikawa

Set in a world where yokai (supernatural creatures) and humans coexist, exceptionally beautiful and powerful yokai sometimes choose human brides. Once chosen, they devote their entire lives to loving her. University student Yuzu Shinonome, who has suffered neglect and emotional coldness from her family since childhood, suddenly finds her fate completely transformed when she is selected as the bride by Reiya Kiriin—the heir to the prestigious "Oni" (Demon) clan, standing at the pinnacle of the yokai hierarchy.

Directed by Chihiro Ikeda, the film is scheduled for release on March 27, 2026.

Additionally, a TV anime adaptation of Ghost Bride, starring Saori Hayami and Yuichiro Umehara in lead roles, will premiere in 2026.
