a new manga series by Yoko Tamotsu—creator of Midnight Occult Civil Servants—launched today, November 25th, as part of KADOKAWA's Comic Newtype lineup. It is now available on Kadokawa's manga platform, Kadokomi.

 

 

"Agari Bito no Ato Shimai" follows the mysterious duo Hakuyo and Itsuki, who possess powers to stand against non-human entities as they travel across Japan to retrieve a certain object. In the first chapter, a young man working part-time at a village festival encounters Hakuyo and Itsuki. Having been warned, "If someone asks you to do something related to the festival, turn it down," the young man receives a strange request from his employer—uncovering the village-wide secret of an "illness-banishing ritual" (Yakudoshi) in the process.
