A long-form animation that depicts the eventful life of the Chinese philosopher Confucious. Broadcast on NHK General TV, this is an adaptation of Taiwanese manga artist Chen Uen's series Toushuu Eiyuu-den which ran in Weekly Morning, but the content is considerably different.
