This Special is an alternate retelling of TV episodes 51 & 52.

Note: Originally shown at the Kitakyuushuu Hakurensai event in 2001. It was later televised on 13.8.2010 as a part of the five-day "Zen'eki Teisha! Ginga Tetsudou 999 Zenbu Misemasu" event on the NHK BS2 channel.

The Galaxy Railways, which crosses the vast universe, seems to have to go out of service, as unexplainable events happen on its trains. One time, an SOS message arrives to the Galaxy Railways headquarters from Galaxy Express 999. The message was sent from the vicinity of Planet Helise, a place which is called "the planet of forgotten time", since the galactic rails end there.…
