Cen Lingqiu, a veteran agent of the Book Transmigration Bureau, takes on one last mission before retirement: to stop the female lead from committing su*cide.

The female lead is beautiful and frail, disabled in both legs. The male lead treats her as a stand-in for the woman he can never forget, locking her away in his mountainside manor and keeping her in total seclusion. Cen Lingqiu is transmigrated into the body of the male lead’s older sister—a villainous side character who relentlessly torments the frail female lead.
