“Give me your number before you go.”

Blocking Ha-hyeon’s escape route, Kang-Woo placed his hand against the wall. Ha-hyeon tilted his head, pretending he hadn’t understood.

“Your bank account number? Don’t we pay outside?”

“Your phone number.”

Kang-Woo replied as if it were obvious. Ha-hyeon averted his gaze from Kang-Woo’s confidence. Just like in the past, Yoon Kang-Woo hadn’t changed at all. No reverse, no U-turn — he always went straight toward Ha-hyeon.

Taking a small breath, Ha-hyeon said: “Doctor, are you hitting on a patient’s guardian while you’re on duty?”

“Yes. Because I missed you.”

Kang-Woo nodded as he answered. The moment their eyes met, Ha-hyeon got the hiccups. He quickly covered his mouth with his flower-tattooed hand, but hic, a sound still escaped.

Kang-Woo smiled and added: “A lot.”
