Rebecca Anderson gets ready to travel to Pastillage from Japan, while Cinque Izumi and Takatsuki Nanami embark on a journey to Biscotti and Galette all the way from England. However, a sudden lightning strike during teleportation sends Cinque and Nanami off course. Eventually, they end up in the great Dragon Forest, protected by a Dragon Priestess named Sharu. She tells them that demons have been recently appearing in the forest, attacking dragons and hurting other creatures.
