This story takes place in Florida, USA. The main characters are the lovable members of the Anderson family; each has their own characteristics which both conflict with and support the others'. By going through many events together (meaningful events as well as weird ones), the bond between them grows stronger and tighter. A 26 episode anime adaptation was aired from October 6, 1986 to March 30, 1987 in Japan, and later in other few countries.
