The story follows the hapless life of Osamu Fujiyama, 33 years old and NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training). Note: Shichiji Shigeo conceived of the project as a series of fictional blog videos, and he based the setting on his own surroundings in Saitama, a prefecture directly northwest of Tokyo. A DVD of the earlier videos was shipped in February 2011.
