Rudo survives in the slums of a floating city, where the poor struggle to get by while the wealthy live in luxury—casually dumping their garbage into the vast abyss below. His life shatters when he’s falsely framed for murder; the unjust verdict delivers a horrific punishment: exile over the edge, tossed down with the trash into the abyss.

On the desolate surface far below, humanity’s discarded waste has mutated into ferocious monsters. To uncover the truth behind his framing, avenge those who condemned him to this hell, and stay alive, Rudo must awaken and master a new, unknown power. His only hope lies in joining the "Cleaners"—a group that battles the massive, deadly trash beasts haunting the Pit.
