* Based on a light novel series by Shigusawa Keiichi. This movie follows a story from the seventh book. In this movie, Kino is still undergoing training with the Master. This backstory shows the franchise's lead character learning to ride Hermes, to handle all sorts of firearms, and other such skills. However, upon meeting a traveler in the woods, Kino remembers a scene from the past, and decides to undertake a mission. Note: The incomplete version of the movie was shown at the Tokyo Kokusai Entertainment Market (Entama) festival on the 23.10.2004. The complete version was sold with the novel's limited edition starting the 30.03.2005. Public screening started on 19.02.2005.
