A’Qi is a Nightmare Demon.

Young Nightmare Demons sustain themselves by devouring human dreams. Their demonic power is weak, and without the protection of a Great Demon, they rarely survive to adulthood at a thousand years old. A’Qi had never seen her mother since the day she opened her eyes.

After being beaten and driven away by humans, A’Qi collapsed with a broken tail. She was rescued by a group of Deer Demons and taken to a secluded valley beneath Fuling Mountain.

Master Xuanqing, the aloof and elegant leader of Fuling Mountain, had mysteriously vanished. The Fuling Sect was forced to suppress the news and search the world for her.

Only Master Xuanqing could suppress the demonic energy of the Demon Abyss. If the Demon Clan learned of her disappearance, they would undoubtedly seize the opportunity to wreak havoc.

Meanwhile, a Nightmare Demon suddenly appeared in the Mortal Realm, accompanied by a cruel Demon Snake. Together, they terrorized the populace, causing widespread chaos.

Disciples of the Fuling Sect were dispatched to capture them, but they soon discovered that not only were they no match for the Nightmare Demon, but they were also being completely outmaneuvered by her cunning schemes.

On the day Master Xuanqing returned to the Fuling Sect, A’Qi’s little snake went missing.
