Konagai Yuuko is a shy first-year in high school who owns three cats: the cheerful and mischievous Munchkin Maa, the smart and responsible Russian Blue Rou, and the gentle laid-back crybaby Singapura Shii. Yuuko, whose only friends were her cats, one day becomes friends with Shiratori Azumi, who also loves cats and owns a Turkish Angora named Elza.
