Going after the seven legendary stones, the "Chaos Emerald", Sonic and friends continue to fight the evil genius professor Dr. Eggman. The moment Sonic entered Eggman's headquarters, the seven Chaos emeralds gathered and created a large "Chaos Control", which blew Sonic and the others through time into the human world. There, Sonic met a kind boy, Chris... All of them were separated in an unknown world. Will they be able to reunite? And what will happen to Eggman's world domination plan... ? Note: The series was broadcast for 52 episodes on TV Tokyo between April 6, 2003 and March 28, 2004. However, episodes 53 through 78 were broadcast together with the rest only outside of Japan in the US and France while a decision to broadcast them in Japan was never made. The Japanese versions of the remaining episodes were later made available for streaming online in August 2009.
